Description
This pungent herb has a strong flavor and aroma similar to thyme. It is commonly used in chutneys, as well as in preparing many popular Indian dishes.

INGREDIENTS:- Chemical composition. The volatile oil present in the seeds of ajwain is one of the principal constituents responsible for providing a typical flavor, owing to the presence of thymol. It also contains a cumene and terpene – “thymene.” The fruits of ajwain yield 2–4% essential oil, containing thymol.
