Mishri or Rock sugar is also a form of sugar that is also extracted from the sugarcane plant. While processing the juice, a brown coloured ‘impure’ form of sugar is produced which is also called ‘Khand’ or ‘raw sugar’. This sugar contains the natural fibre content of sugarcane which are also referred to as impurities.

मिश्री या रॉक शुगर भी चीनी का एक रूप है जिसे गन्ने के पौधे से निकाला जाता है। रस को संसाधित करते समय चीनी का भूरे रंग का ‘अशुद्ध’ रूप उत्पन्न होता है जिसे ‘खांड’ या ‘कच्ची चीनी’ भी कहा जाता है। इस चीनी में गन्ने की प्राकृतिक फाइबर सामग्री होती है जिसे अशुद्धियाँ भी कहा जाता है।
