Kali Mooch rice, also known as the “Black Beard” rice, is a type of aromatic rice primarily grown in the North Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is called “Kali Mooch” because of its unique appearance, where the grain has a blackish-brown spot that resembles a mustache.
