Naphthalene balls are extensively used as household preservative of woolen clothes and as a deodorant tablet for the toilets, urinals, bathrooms etc. These are manufactured from naphthalene flakes by a tablet- making machine having its ball shape die.

नेफ़थलीन गेंदों का उपयोग बड़े पैमाने पर ऊनी कपड़ों के घरेलू परिरक्षक के रूप में और शौचालय, मूत्रालय, स्नानघर आदि के लिए दुर्गन्ध गोली के रूप में किया जाता है। इन्हें नेफ़थलीन के गुच्छे से एक गोली बनाने वाली मशीन द्वारा निर्मित किया जाता है, जिसमें इसकी गेंद के आकार की डाई होती है।
