It is a small mandarin-like fruit of 3–3.25 cm in diameter, weighing 20–30 g. It has a smooth orange-colored peel that is very thin (1–2 mm). Its fruit has an orange-colored acidic flesh with seeds, but the peel is sweet and edible.
